That's Entertainment!

[Wherein I introduce you to my poor taste in entertainment.]

I've actually got photos of scarves and other stuff to show, but I'm going to dedicate this post to ... entertainment.

First of all, I most likely won't go see this sheep-horror flick on the big screen. But it definitely looks like a movie that's likely to be so bad it's fun!

And, you may remember I told you I was going to see Weird Al Yankovic instead of the Yarn Harlot? Well, the size of the crowd at chez Webs was enough to make me glad I went to see Al instead. And I would be lying if I told you that his show was anything short of incredible. I loved it so much that I've been sending people over to watch the video of James Blunt's You're Beautiful so that I can describe Al's visual parody in You're Pitiful. (The one below isn't done by Al. The one he did at the show was shorter and funnier. But this one's very well done.)



I had this silly thought that perhaps, maybe, in a fit of perfect congruity, the universe was going to let me attend the Harlot's Portland Oregon event. Yes, Oregon is on the opposite coast from my home. No, I didn't skip out on the awards ceremony and go see her while we were in Portland this past week-end. I will see her somewhere, sometime, and I will stand in line for hours and take the next day as a vacation day because I will have stayed up until the wee hours of the morning waiting for my chance to thank her in person.

So, there's one more upcoming event that I will definitely not miss. This is a free concert. The Arrogant Worms will be coming to Ridgefield, CT on June 21. Listen to these guys. Their song Rippy the Gator has some of the most beautiful harmony I've heard.
